Last February 27th, Decanter celebrated its event Fine Wine Encounter: Spain & Portugal in London, where the most special and unique wines from Spain and Portugal came together. Dehesa del Carrizal took part in this gathering —addressed to sommeliers, specialized press, distributors and importers— with the 2012 vintages of MV, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Colección Privada and Petit Verdot.

Among all of them, the participants highlighted the new Petit Verdot. “Ever since our Petit Verdot 2010 won the Grand Gold Bacchus award there’s been a great deal of expectancy regarding our new vintage of this wine, and now we’ve been congratulated for achieving a continuation”, said Christophe Beele, Dehesa del Carrizal Export Manager. Furthermore, the participants also valued very positively the Cabernet Sauvignon, a long standing wine in the British market and “very appreciated among consumers in the UK”, explained Beele. These consumers are gradually discovering the rest of the wines by Dehesa del Carrizal, highlighting their singularity and excellent quality-price ratio.
