Dehesa del Carrizal will take part in ProWein in order to present the new vintages of its wines. The appointment is in Düsseldorf on March 15th to 17th; during these three days the German city becomes the European capital of the wine sector. It is not by chance that ProWein is one of the most important wine related fairs in the world and a meeting not to be missed by producers, distributors and professionals of the sector.

For two years in a row, Dehesa del Carrial will count with its own stand at the fair (Hall 10, Stand C136). In words of Christopher Beele, Dehesa del Carrizal Export Manager, “presenting our wines at ProWein is very important, since it is one of the most emblematic fairs”. The wines to be presented will be the new vintages of Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, MV, Colección Privada and Petit Verdot.

Our aim is to consolidate those markets where the winery is already present, as well as to establish new relationships with distributors of new emerging markets, where the wines from Dehesa del Carrizal may have a great potential, such as the Eastern European countries and Scandinavia.

“We primarily go to ProWein in order to sell wine, but also to assess the market, get to know new tendencies and positioning strategies, obtain data about the type and frequency of consumption in the different countries, study the requirements of the different importing countries… it is an extremely profitable fair in many respects and its high level of professionalism guarantees a pleasant work experience”, explains Beele.

For this year’s edition, ProWein will welcome more than 5,000 exhibitors from half a hundred countries. The fair also provides an extensive program of parallel activities and events organized by the exhibitors. All along the three days of the fair, more than 300 tastings and seminars will take place either at the fair stands or at the ProWein Forum, located this year in the centre of Hall 13.
