Our wines
The vineyard
The first Dehesa del Carrizal vines were planted in 1987. This Cabernet Sauvignon was later joined by Syrah, Merlot, Tempranillo, Chardonnay and Petit Verdot.
The Terroir
Our vines are located in a vineyard, which thanks to the microclimate and humidity, harbor an interesting acidity point.
Dehesa del Carrizal has a microclimate that allows a slow and harmonious ripening of the grapes.
The climate
Dehesa del Carrizal, in the Montes de Toledo, is a pioneering winery with Vino de Pago distinction since 2006. Under the direction of the Villar Mir family, it creates unique wines that reflect their natural surroundings. Each bottle is a tribute to its land and excellence.
